Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. In my first term in Tallahassee, I brought back vital funding to protect our community from flooding. As a mother, I passed legislation to protect children from sexual predators, and passed Miya’s Law to protect renters and college students. I fought attacks on women's health. I ensured our seniors and veterans had access to resources to lead healthy lives. And as a teacher, I advocated for education policies that focused on the whole child, including their safety and mental health. I helped families and taxpayers by providing needed funds to our communities and fought to reduce costs of healthcare and housing. There is much more work to do to impact critical issues including the insurance crisis, clean water, healthcare, education and more. I need your help so I can go back to fight for issues important to our working families, our seniors and against the culture wars waged in Tallahassee.
